This is a growing page for detailed instructions and printables needed to make
our AlphaBugs Lapbook. We used Lapbooking and Notebooking methods
combined to make this, and we'll put up an instructional video shortly. Basically
we cut the tab off the end of a file folder and punched holes down the side so
that we had a seperate file folder for each letter of the alphabet. We checked
out tons of books from the library for each bug, you can see our favorites on
each individual page.  If you'd like to watch a Lapbook Video on how to put
your Alphabugs Lapbook/Notebook together, please visit our Member Forums

Ant Lapbook
A is for Ant Lapbook!  Ant are a great topic to start out your
Alphabugs lapbook series; They're hardworking, persistent and
can carry many times their weight.  It's no wonder God asks us to
consider the ant's wisdom.  The study of ants is a wonderful way
for children to see God's hand in all of his creation, even with the
teeny tiny ants.
Butterfly Lapbook
B is for Beautiful Butterflies Lapbook.  Some of my most favorite
insects are butterflies because of their vibrant colors and beautiful
decorations that not only attract mates, but keep predators away
as well.  Children love to learn about butterflies, they are simply
wondrous and delicate.
Cricket Lapbook
C is for Cricket Lapbook!  What a fantastic little bug to learn
about, one that make music and is always hidding somewhere
near in the fields.  Children love to listen to crickets chirping all
night!
Dragonfly Lapbook
D is for Dragonfly Lapbook, a fun little study on the fastest flying
insect!  God created these little bugs to really move, so fast in fact
that it takes experts hours to catch certain varities
