Lapbooks: A new look!
By valerie | January 14, 2008
Hope that title wasn’t too misleading, I couldn’t figure a better way to say it……I’ve changed around the free lapbook page on the site in hopes that it’ll make it easier to find the lapbooks I’m uploading there. For now, we’ve got text links for the lapbooks, and then once you click the link you’ll be taken to a page where you can access the lapbook and any videos or picture tutorials, as well as some helpful links for expanding and supplementing the lapbook that’s provided. So, I’ve decided to take after Melissa of Liliput Station, and make a pretty graphic for each of my creations, so you know just where to click and what you’re clicking on!
So, most of the graphics for the Free printable lapbooks, will look similar to this. Of course with a different title for each one, but you get the idea right? Anyway, I’m pretty proud of it, if I’m allowed to say that? What do you think?
Also, I’ll be merging the lapbooks created at www.LittleBlots.com over to www.LapbookLessons.com. I’ll be making the transfer as quickly as possible, so if you’ve got any of the free lapbooks listed at Little Blots linked from your blog or website, please update your links so that you can send people to the right place!
I’ll be setting up a redirect page as well, but I want to make sure that no one gets confused or worried about them disappering from Little Blots.
The reason is that I’d like to expand Little Blots as a Christian Teaching Forum and Social Network (which is already in the works here) and leave all the Lapbooks to this new site!
Yeah, I know, it’s a bit confusing, but I truly believe in the end it’ll be much less confusing, and even more helpful to everyone. BTW–We just added a new “Chat” feature on our forums, so you can have live conversations with other Christian Teachers and Homeschoolers! How cool is that!
Also, just wanted to let you in on a sneek peek of what I’ve got in the works…..and soon to be finished
“D for Daniel Lapbook” and this one is really cute :) stay tuned!
In Christ,
Valerie
